Hunter Filling provided Pack Logix with a four head Hunter model 1545 with top fill and bottom up fill nozzles to accommodate the range of container sizes and product viscosity for this contract packer of automotive products.
The multiple head filling machine needed to be capable of filling thick and thin viscosity products with bottom up fill nozzles to fill oils and greases for the automotive industry. Product testing and trials highlighted the need for diving nozzles to fill grease into small slender tubes without air inclusions. The filling machine needed to be versatile, as well as fast and accurate, to accommodate products requiring the diving nozzles and other products that needed to be top filled.
The result with Hunter Filling's solution is quick changeover times and easy to clean design which means filler downtime is minimal.
